Jeffrey Irmer

Jeffrey Irmer joined Pembroke IV as Principal in 2016. Jeff has been instrumental to the growth of Pembroke IV as an investor and member of its investment advisory board since 2010. 

Immediately prior to joining Pembroke, Jeff was Vice President, Global Sales & Commercial Excellence for Honeywell’s Automation and Control Solutions (ACS) Strategic Business Group (SBG), leading sales for 6 business units with annual combined sales totaling $15B; a role he held from 2014-2016. From 2009-2014, he held the position of Vice President, Global Sales for Honeywell’s Performance Materials and Technologies (PMT) SBG, comprising 5 business units totaling $10B revenues. Jeff began his career at Honeywell in 2004 as Vice President, Sales, Americas, for Honeywell’s Environmental & Combustion Controls, a $2B business unit focusing on HVAC/R controls for residential, commercial and industrial applications within the Automation and Control Solutions SBG.

Prior to his career at Honeywell, Jeff held leadership positions in: Sales, Marketing, and Logistics for Essex Electric Inc.; Global Sales & Marketing for Eaton’s mobile hydraulics business; Global Marketing & Engineering for Vickers Hydraulics (which was acquired by Eaton); Vice President, Product Management and Strategic Marketing for Philips Lighting-Americas; and Business Development/Marketing for Bell & Howell. Jeff began his career as an Operations Director with Merrill Lynch in New York & Chicago.

Jeff is a co-founder and board member of the Chicago-based, Delphi Energy Fund, an energy-retrofit financing firm. He has been an advisor to many firms and industry groups over his career, and currently sits on the Board of Directors for Harbison Walker International, a Pittsburgh-based $700M industrial products company. He has also been an active investor in Residential Rental/Condominium properties in Chicago and Massachusetts.

Jeff received his MBA with a concentration in Finance & Marketing from Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management. He is a 1979 graduate of Amherst College, where he received his BA cum laude in Philosophy.
